This Privacy Policy explains how HomeCalc ("we", "us", "our"), published at homemetric.fun, handles information when you use our website.

Calculator data

All calculators on HomeCalc run locally in your browser using JavaScript. Numbers you enter — such as room measurements, costs, income or mortgage details — are processed on your device and are not transmitted to, or stored on, our servers. We have no way of seeing what you type into a calculator.

Information we may collect automatically

Like most websites, our server and any analytics or advertising scripts we run may automatically log standard technical information when you visit — such as your approximate location (derived from IP address), browser type, device type, pages visited and time spent on the site. This is used in aggregate to understand site usage and is not linked to your calculator inputs.

Analytics

HomeCalc uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage (e.g. which pages are popular and how visitors move through the site). Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect anonymized or pseudonymized usage data — it does not receive anything you type into a calculator. Analytics data collection respects the choice you make in our cookie banner (see "Advertising & Google AdSense" below and our Cookie Policy): if you reject non-essential cookies, Analytics storage is set to denied via Google's Consent Mode. You can also opt out of Google Analytics tracking site-wide using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Advertising & Google AdSense

HomeCalc displays advertisements served by Google AdSense and other third-party advertising vendors. These vendors, including Google, use cookies (such as the DoubleClick DART cookie) to serve ads based on a visitor's prior visits to this website and/or other websites on the Internet.
